During the debut years... they were close because they knew to spend a lot of time together and cultivate that relationship. They were growing up together in the same group, which made it all the more easier to grow closer through all the hardships. Now... their relationship has a much deeper layer of trust in it. They don't need to spend all their time together, but they will still understand each other just by a certain look in the eye. I don't think their relationship has gotten worse... They just have more trust in each other.

Heck they weren't even sure if they would be able to debut due to lack of funds. Despite all the odds against them their success reached to a height most artists could only dream of. As someone who has been their fan for over 4 years now, I’ve seen them grow and blossom tremendously. Back then, like they said, it was about trying to survive and trying to achieve realistic, concrete goals, and ultimately, trying to survive in this highly competitive and harsh industry. Back then, they were in a phase where they were continuously trying to win the people’s hearts and so they were always finding ways to improve and with that, you can see that they’re always questioning whether what they do is ever good enough. Now, you can see how they’ve grown to become more comfortable with themselves, to know their limits and to appreciate that not all things can be flawless. You can also see how close they’ve become now having gone through so much during their trainee years-in my opinion, they have one of the closest and sincerest relationships with each other than any groups I’ve seen. What hasn’t changed is their humility and appreciation to the gratitude they’ve received over the years. They still feel like the boys you see 6 years ago, giving out free stickers to the public so that they can come to their showcases. That’s the same kind of appreciation they have today and I couldn’t be more proud for what they’ve grown into. I hope SEVENTEEN continue to grow and be blessed by success because they’ve brought joy to a lot of people that may not have known what joy feels like before seeing them ✨

And as they said, the love we fans have is always reciprocated. You can clearly feel their sincerity whenever they talk with carats or even about carats. They have honestly grown and changed a lot. But one thing is clear, they're a lot more comfortable with themselves. I've noticed it since the first time I saw them in 2015. Back then, I don't think they gave much thought into why wanted to be here and what exactly they want to do and represent as idols and artists. They wanted to be on stage because it felt good and they sacrificed things to be here. It was just a feeling that teenagers like them wanted to continue feeling empowered by. But now, I can totally see who they are and what they want. They go on stage because it empowers people. It empowers them, their fans, anyone who is watching, anyone who is listening, the youth looking at them, and the people who share their same dream of performing. They continue their job because it gives so many people the strength to live through today and hope for a happier tomorrow. And as artists, they want to make sure that people see them as the artists they are. The artists who are able to showcase their honest feelings and thoughts because they make their own music and choreography. They want people to know that even in a society ruled with corporations, there's still hope for one's own self expression. They show their kind hearts by supporting marginalized groups & the donations they make to various organizations that branch from orphans to school programs for kids to achieve their dreams. They do those things because it's simply what they think is right and when the press publicizes their actions, it's showing who they are and what they are wanting to represent on a social level. In an interview recently Hoshi mentions how before he didn't really think about it, but being a public figure does carry a social responsibility whether or not all people use it. I can see that now, they have found what they should stand for because they have this social responsibility. Not to mention how they carry themselves then vs now. Back then, they just kinda had to deal with what they were given and make the best of it. But now that they have a little more time and energy to themselves, I can see that they're actively exploring themselves. In the way they all talk, dress themselves, and even take care of themselves. They have overall, just been getting more and more comfortable with who they are. Looking back 6 years ago, they probably didn't think much about themselves, always hungry for the stage. Now, they are more comfortable with themselves as real people and who they are on camera as idols. It's just nice to see them get used to being idols and even being comfortable with the life they're leading right now. They are so much more comfortable with everything than they were when they were just a bunch of teenagers debuting in 2015.

6 years ago, SEVENTEEN had a reality show for them to debut and it required number of audiences. To think they started from a small group of 200 (in one of the episodes) then to a thousand (live debut) then years later to hundred thousands (concerts). I've been following this group since Mansae era and I could just cry at how proud I am of their growth and effort. One thing that made me really appreciate this group is their sincerity. You could see that in their teamwork and performances. They are also very sincere in their love for CARATs. They acknowledge that the love they give back isn't enough in their songs (All My Love) but they still try to give us love back. They strive to be a group that won't make fans embarrassed in being an idol fan. They know that there's a stigma for that and they work hard just for the fans to be proud. Likewise, they also project their sincerity in their songs as they are the ones to produce it. The self-producing idols as the general public dubbed them. Anyways, I'm just so proud of them! I still can't believe it's been 6 years already!

This video not only made me look back on what Seventeen is back then, but also who I was when I stanned them. I'm the same age as Mingyu, The8 and DK, and I've watched them grow from teenagers to men. I remembered how I was also a teeneager and now as an adult I'm still with them and grew along with them. Seventeen has been very passionate and energetic even back then, they still do now but I feel like they are now more comfortable and aware of the industry that they're in. Back then they were just starting to build up their name and brand; now they are established and more focused on using their name for the things they know are important. Now, they are more open to the public about how they are as humans, and idol image should not be seen as someone who is 'perfect'. This affected me as well as I go along with them, from a teenager who thought being perfect is everything, I have learned along these men that I'm human, there would be things I'm not good at, but I can improve on them and grow. Seventeen taught me so much about life, not just by their music, but also through the actions that they show to people. I thank them so much for that. ❤

It's been amazing watching them grow from being rookies to one of the most notable kpop acts in the world. They might've thought otherwise but they're exceptional artists noticed by many since debut, enough to be recognized as monster rookies. Looking back to past performances, it's evident how much they've worked hard to keep improving and becoming even better versions of themselves that carats love and support to this day! To add, I'm always amazed by how grounded they are despite their fame. It's easy to get lost in the fame. However, they always try to remember their roots and use their experiences to become better going forward. One thing that hasn't changed is the sincerity they express through their music and actions. It seeps through all that they do and it's a joy to experience every time.

I love how interviews now are more meaningful than then, like they ask about self-care now. They’ve come to realize that idols are hoomans too. Nice

They never change at all and their jokes are getting crazy now 🤣

I would say they haven’t changed at all in terms of their passion. They have always been passionate bout their music and art and you can see it from their very first album. Up till today, they are always outdoing their previous albums and it’s just amazing how they are always so humble:)

i've been with seventeen since 2015 and you know what didn't changed for this group is their passion and love for what they are doing. im not into new groups but seventeen was an exemption, they totally got my attention back then. their songs are good and you know all the members are individually talented. i also like how respectful they are towards their sunbaes, i can feel 2nd vibes coming out from them and no wonder why how many sunbaes expressed how much they love seventeen as well

I can relate to what Coups said like literally I don't remember how the original "sunday morning rain is falling" sounds like anymore, all I can hear is Shua's voice

I really love this carefully written questions, bc they may be personal/need introspection, but they're never invasive

My hope is only for greater things to come for them but at the same time I want them to be able to have fun and be the best version of themselves without much limitations and restrictions. So I hope we carats can work hard to achieve that and protect them in a positive manner.

S.Coups: Now if I listen to "Sunday Morning" all I can think of Joshua's voice. The original song doesn't come to you. Me (who never heard such song before met Joshua's iconic "Sunday Morning rain is falling"): *I agree!*

Interviewing Seventeen is the most satisfying to watch because dude they always talk at the same time! 😂 Never a dull interview with Sebongieee. We're so lucky (Carats)!

Time is so fast. I became a fan in 2016 and i just blinked, now you are all grown up men. Back then, I see you as charming and talented cute boys who make their own music. Now you all became cooler and matured. It's amazing to witness you all became the artist you are now. Some things may change but the passion to perform and make great music is always there.
