Lmao, I'm so glad people underprepared you two for these titans. Fallin' Flower and 24H are two songs that exemplify why Seventeen's Japanese songs are no joke. Fallin' Flower might be the closest I've come to declaring my favourite Seventeen song of all time. All these years later, it's still such a stunning song to me.

i really like how Fallin' Flower is kinda about like the last stage/s of a flower's lifecycle since most songs are about flowers blooming and all that. it's like how endings are tied to new beginnings and how the flower says they lived a worth while life since they found that someone/some thing who loved them. and the MV is so ethereal too! i really like that imagery with 2 hands with one that was thorny, like how one held that other even tho they were full of thorns.

I adore the 24H choreography, it has so many time references and different clock moves, the way they switch center parts, the way they rotate, the slow walk in a big circle, the floor choreo, center Jun with the clock hands in the beginning, the sand falling in the hourglass move, how they hit every damn beat perfectly... uhh it's just so freaking good, I love it so much 😩 amazing reaction as always ❤

Fallin' Flower was the first song to be performed at the first fan meeting in Japan since the pandemic, but it was so beautiful that Carats around me were crying. Japanese CARATs were saddened by the cancellation of the dome tour, but they believed in the day when we could meet again and listened to this song a lot.🩷🩵

Yeah, 'Fallin Flower' Minghao will probably always be my favorite. The way his long dark hair falls over his face, his soft beautiful vocals, the outfits and that smooth/graceful choreo with him and Hoshi... I can never get over it. He was just breathtaking and don't get me started on my man DK, his voice along with the Japanese lyrics is just chef's kiss. The way the words/syllables sound when he sings(esp during his part) just sounds satisfying😍 Tbh I prefer the JPN version over the Korean(for all their JPN tracks) maybe it's bc the song(s) were specifically made to be JPN and I feel the same for their Korean tracks. For example I like the Korean version of 'Rock With You' better than the JPN. The only Korean songs I don't mind being in JPN are 'Together' and 'Run To You' bc they already have an anime vibe, so it fits even more😄

i really adore your reactions! the emotional roller-coaster of putting the fallin' flower and 24H in one video was a decision😂 some fun facts about Fallin' Flower - this was cheol's first come back to the group after his hiatus (more info in Hit The Road) - i remember seeing somewhere woozi's painting is actually a picture of joshua - there's a korean ver included in the sector 17 repackaged album fun facts abour 24H - the dance practice was released like months after the initial release since seungkwan had an injury and couldn't join for a few months (flimed the mv but wasn't in the group dance, same for home;run)

My favorite part in the Fallin flower MV is on Jun's part before the second chorus where he emerges from the member's arms like a blooming flower and then the two thorny hands finally clasp together. That, coupled with the look Jun amd Wonwoo were sharing with each other just makes me breathless. The people behind the video made something really beautiful! With the choreography, I love all the different flower formations. In Seungkwan's part where they were all knelt down with their arms waving like they're a field of tall grass and he's in the middle of it. The hand flicking motion like they're trying to catch a falling petal and failing, but in the very end part managing to catch it properly. I've rambled a lot but I'm just a Falling Flower stan 😭😭

@daemon42 It's actually not just about the accent, there are few sounds in Japanese that are very hard for most Koreans to pronounce correctly, especially when they first start learning the language, and many Korean groups keep singing them the same bad way they speak them (e.g. TXT), but Seventeen has really very good pronunciation when singing and very bad when speaking LOL

Fallin flower is like the most aestheticly pleasing music video and choreography combo in their entire career. their mv is crazy with the color pallete and the floral theme but choreography is ART. i have never seen a choreography from a group (or i haven't seen enough, idk) that scream art as much as this. and 24h is the first japan mv i watched and i was HOOKED. just the melody and everything. it's all perfect. like their choreo is always so creative and i can't get over it. also FUN FACT. don't be sad about the thumbnail, the one jeonghan hold there is scoups. not anyone else lol i believe they represent the begining and the end (scoups starts the song and jeonghan ends it). but yes, that's interesting.

(not so) fun fact about these two MV that maybe other carats haven't mentioned: Seungcheol was on hiatus when Fallin' Flower MV was made (after An Ode era) and this MV was his first official schedule at that time. but, for the dance part in the MV, he was being replaced by their backup dancer. and it took awhile for them to posted the choreography video, because they waited until Seungcheol could/ready to participate. and for the 24H MV, Seungkwan had ankle injury, I believed. so, he too, for the dance part in the MV was being replaced by the same backup dancer.
