His name is Woozi (Lee JiHoon) and he is the Vocal unit leader, the main producer in the group, and one of the main songwriters for the group. He is amazing. He can play guitar, clarinet, drums, piano, and probably everything else. Woozi is pure talent.

If you want to appreciate them more before you watch a guide, watch the KILLING VOICE to get snips of like 20 songs and some of their vibe when they're just together in front of a camera. Then maybe a dance practice to see how they work together in choreo--or a live. But the guide is a MUST. I am a proud CARAT. They are my 2nd ULT group. BTS is no 1 in my heart but SEVENTEEN is right next door in my heart sharing the hallway.

They are under Pledis Entertainment and in 2020, HYBE Labels (the very same one that BTS is under and has built), became their majority stakeholder but Pledis still operates as an independent label. - the red-haired guy is The8 (real name Minghao - one of 2 Chinese members in the team) - the one who looks like Yoongi is Woozi - they worked together on the Haegum dance challenge along with DK, Seungkwan, and Hoshi. Woozi also guested on Yoongi's YT show, Suchwita (a definite must-watch, same as the episode with Hoshi, who is their dance leader and the one that you mentioned has a clear, alto tone and was going off on the choreo along with the skeleton) - the one you called Muscle Daddy is Dino, their youngest member/maknae Personally, aside from BTS, I enjoy Seventeen's music from time-to-time as well. :)

To take in all of seventeens greatness a little at time, I would suggest the sub unit songs lol. Most recently: Performance unit- Hoshi, Jun, The8, and Dino. Song: Spell Hip-Hop unit- S. Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu, and Vernon. Song: LALALI Vocal unit- Woozi, Jeonghan, Joshua, DK, and Seungkwan. Song: Cheers to youth. Just an idea to help you tell them apart/get to know them better 🙂

Did you say a sexy Macarena? 😭 But seriously … watch dance practices. They’re all such great dancers that dance practices add another level to the songs. Also, we are definitely not kidding when we say they have a diverse discography with very experimental concepts at times. And honestly, Hot and Maestro are probably more similar to each other than they are to just about anything else that they’ve done. Take God of Music, for example. That one came out around this time last year. But it is bright and colorful and fun and upbeat. And basically happiness in an MV. But the comeback before that one, they had a double title track with Super and FML. Those two songs couldn’t have been further from each other or from God of Music. And then in yet another plot twist, they have something like Home;Run which is just straight up jazz/Broadway fusion. You really don’t know what to expect from these guys when you hit play on a song and I love that. There have something for any mood you’re in 🤭

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. Woozi vocals were also high falsetto. He can rap too and dance. He has way too much in common with Suga, lol. But I don't think they look like twins. =0p Suga actually had Hoshi and Woozi on his Suchwita show for 2 episodes. U should check it out. U learn about Suga and Seventeen more. It's cool. Hoshi u liked his high falsetto. =0] I like the chorus in this song but the whole thing did not work for me on 1st listen. Like it's not balanced to me. Which is basically me not being able to find a rhythm. It's all about the rhythm to me. Rock with You is my fav from them. So bloody catchy. The red haired guy is Minghao (The8) he is Chinese and everyone loved him in this MV, lol. The8 has such a unique face to me it doesn't matter the hair color. I will recognise him, np. Also, many bias him lol. I hear yelling of his name often in reactions, LMAO. During the video, they sing several of their songs from the beginning of their career to the Hot Era (Face the Sun). @cinarin said on 7/2/22 all right I'm back cause I had to watch an editor break the transitions in the mv down for me after you broke down the meaning and I wanted to point out a few things, first the DARLING idk if anyone noticed it (I absolutely did not) but the bullet that goes through the heart hands hits the L in DARLING and the word becomes DARING instead. I screamed!! this is really one of those mad mvs we need to go frame by frame to process the details. There's a frame of a zoomed in shot of the coin they kept tossing around and you can read the embossed legend on it and it says: bet your tomorrow on the sun of fate. Also the way I see it with this concept is that they're embodying the SUN in every aspect: they're daring, playing with fire/danger, embracing risk even dancing with death (the skeleton) and the fuming bullet in Vernon's mouth etc until they reach the end of the mv and the fake sun that was behind them loses its fire (cause they've absorbed it) and its true form is revealed (it burns out and the fans appear) and then we see the real sun and a seventeen member grabs it and the rest is history.
