Mudryk can cut inside but he needs an overlapping left back and cover from midfield and most importantly, geting the ball quickly in transition play. Unfortunately, Cucurella isn’t great at overlapping runs, Gallagher is likely to go forward too much and leave spaces, and without Enzo, we have only Palmer to count on for progression passes and creativity in transition. I predict a frustrating game and either a draw or a narrow win for us.

Here's mine and here me out: GK: Petrivic RB: Malo RCB: disasi LCB: Badiashille LB: Cucurella RDM: Caicedo LDM: Casadi CAM: Mudryk RW: Palmer LW: Gallagher (like we saw in the second half of the Leicester game) ST: Jackson We're always right sided focused anyway allowing Gallagher free roam to chase the ball down like he's a dog in heat. Casadi, unknown to some is incredible in the air giving Petrovic another out ball and he's great with the ball at his feet and great at getting out tight spaces and finding team mates and it frees up caicedo to carry the ball forward and and play the passes in between the lines. Being so focused at attacking down the right too means Cucurella doesn't have to support in the attack as much giving us more cover in defence and an extra body to deal with any hopeful balls forward or back post crosses

If Casadei is available I'd put him in against Burnley. Then possibly try Mudryk through the middle and Jackson on the left (his admitted favourite position) again it's Burnley and there's no way that they would have planned on that formation!

Honestly, it's good palmer didn't play for England, I was thinking prior to the internationals , that chelsea are not giving him rest and hope he doesn't get injured , now he got a nice long rest and fit for the remaining games of the season , which can heavily impact our league position

Mudryk won't invert or move into central positions cause Cucu is playing LB, meaning no support down the left and no overlapping from our LB, meaning he's gonna be completely isolated and he's getting marked out the game. Sterling has to play if Cucurella is playing LB. it's not ideal AT ALL but, Mudryk can't innovate chances by himself. he needs support, which is available to him when he's playing in the no.10 position, but out wide, he's cooked

Decent line up if Poch even gets it. If CFC cannot get their Preferred Manager even Di Zerbi will be a step up from Poch. Why did it take ppl two thirds through the season to see what was evident about Sterling from the first third of the season. He doesn't have the legs to give you defensive cover, he is not a good passer, he is not as explosive as he used to be, he's selfish because he wanted to get back into Eng squad and he is an opportunist not a play maker. Don't get me wrong he's a great guy who deserves our respect.

What you see is what you get with managers. Naagalsman is likely the best option for Chelsea these days.
