Several Fig Wasps exiting the fig, and then eating?

I have read that it is not known if fig wasps ever eat in their very short life, but here we have several around the fig ostiole that seem to be in no hurry to leave and pollinate, instead they all appear to be feeding.

Yes they are, just before they fly off to pollinate guided by smell.
