Right? Sure the ongoing pandemic, writer’s strike and the creative differences that were alleged were contributors but the sets and camera work have leveled up massively. Apparently the opening shot of S2E1 took five months to film.

@@CrowTRobot It was filmed over a five month period with breaks in between 😁

It took three years due to the actors and writers strike.

I hope Dylan & Gretchen’s interaction was genuine because it was really sweet and I can see Gretchen enjoying spending more time with “her husband” and how attentive innie Dylan probably is than outie him. However, the fact that she said his outie has had trouble keeping other jobs would motivate Dylan due to guilt that this job is very important for his family. I hope it wasn’t intended to be manipulative. I also hope she didn’t just say she loves him to manipulate him too because it kind of would. I think it’s obvious Lumon is doing this to manipulate him so Gretchen could’ve been coached to say certain things. Or even just told how vital this was for innie Dylan to stay motivated and therefore keep his job.

My theory to why the goat department employees look so dishevelled and in rough shape is that they may be homeless outside of Lumon. Ms. Casey said to one of them that he excels at stargazing, which seems to indicate that he doesn’t have a roof over his head on the outside. The homeless people are actively being experimented on by Lumon. They might have fallen prey to Lumon’s tempting offer of sustenance and even the promise of drugs for their addiction. Their marginalised social status allows Lumon to keep them on the severed floor for a longer stretch of time, not unlike the rotation shifts of the miners.

I like it. My first thought was they don’t leave like Ms Casey

The innie-outtie-Gretchen love triangle seeds they are planting have me so excited, what a crazy concept to explore. She didnt say “I love you” to outtie Dylan!

Yeah, there's no "I" for outie Dylan. It's sad.

Milchick and Natalie appeared uncomfortable about the paintings but couldn’t say anything. Milchick put the paintings up on a high shelf where he wouldn’t see them.

O&D has always had green badges. It was a plot point because that’s how Irving noticed that the painting Dylan found was an inverse of the one that got printed when Irv tried to copy his map.

2:13 😆 I love watching the different reactions to this scene, where each person has a different reaction to which is weirder: "If it's Helly" or "if it's Helena"? From each different person's lens 😅.
