She would NEVER - and furthermore, she wouldn't do what Dylan and Mark did, and just sit there in silence while someone else said it. She would be the first person to shut that down. It breaks my heart, because Helly was the friend Irving needed most, the one who would've had his back, and she was the only one who wasn't there. And the others, who were supposedly his friends, left him out in the cold. Tbh I'm a little mad at Mark and Dylan. I hope they feel bad. Always trust Irving. How damaged of a human being is Helena Eagan? I would have more sympathy for her except for the deception towards Mark S. She is dangerous and unreliable for everyone - Mark S, Milchick and Lumon. Drummond will likely take over as head of the Severance floor. Helena has only one thing left and that's her desire to pursue Mark. I think this will carry over outside of the severance wing. I actually feel sorry for Milchick. That's two episodes in a row where his faith and devotion to the Eagan's is shaken. Poor Dylan too.

This episode was fascinating. And Irv was epic. He figured it out and forced Helena’s hand. Sadly, his innie paid the ultimate price. I knew from the moment Helena said that she saw the inside of a boring apartment - and I never doubted it. Now where does it go from here? Helly R better start talking fast before they turn her off again! I loved that none of the innies ever knew Milchick’s first name, but Gretchen let it slip to Dylan. And then when Helena yelled to him in distress using his first name - that sealed the deal for Dylan!

The one thing I don’t understand from this episode: why did Lumon let the innies sleep? Wasn’t Lumon strictly against that in Season 1. Doesn’t it cause possible subconscious bleed-over? Do they have a new strategy now? Thanks for the reactions @funnylilgalreacts

They are against sleeping at a place of work, not sleeping in general. For innies that effectively means no sleeping as they are always at work. One has to wonder if this was the first ever ORTBO and if so, what were they trying to achieve.
@tonycamas97472 күн бұрын
Correct me if I'm wrong, but do we have any canonical reason to believe that dreaming messes up severance in some way? I know it's a very common narrative among fans of the show that Outie Irving deliberately drinks coffee so that Innie Irv might fall asleep and allow outside information to "bleed" into his Innie self, but have Stiller, Ericson, & co. ever actually confirmed that? It's certainly possible that the tents were equipped with some sort of "dream inhibitor" technology, but it seems to me that, based on what we actually know, it's equally possible that Lumon was just not that worried about this alleged bleed over effect. At least, not for one night of sleep. Also, there was nothing in Irv's dream that betrayed any knowledge that we know Outie Irv had. Most of what he dreamed about was stuff from his Innie life, or things he had already strongly suspected.
@jpippice2 күн бұрын
@@tonycamas9747 I think Lumon frowned on it, no? All the innies knew it was bad and Milchick was on Irv in an instant when he dozed. In this episode I think there’s a possibility that outie Irv knew of Helena Egan and that’s why innie Irv could connect the dots with her face appearing on the computer screen and the word Egan appearing. All theories though, agreed!

I've had a theory since episode 1 of this season that Irving is reintegrated, and this episode imo made it more likely to be true. He felt a bit off in his mannerisms, suspicious nature and general vernacular (a lot more f-bombs). And like you said during the episode, how did he figure out that she was an Eagan? I think the dream has the answers here, it was the innie and outtie thoughts converging and figuring it out. Woe is sitting in Helly's chair, and the letters on Irving's screen spell out Eagan and show Helly's face (you'll have to rewatch to see this, I only saw the letters at first viewing but not the face, it's subtle), it suddenly became crystal clear for him.

The question is where they are, though. Are they really outside? Sounds like a damn big risk to take. If they ARE outside though, the innies wouldn't normally be awake; they'd have to use OTC for them to be awake outdoors, and end it for them to return to their outies, so it's interesting Milcheck didn't tell them to end OTC for Helena but used other terminology.

She said the aforementioned when she was asked to clarified what she meant when she said, about fan theories, "We make the series for the fans"... Regarding the goat poop. There is absolutely no way in hell that the set designers, actors, directors, editors AND writers didn't know that goat poop is pellets rather than a pile. Someone would've noticed this and they'd have fixed this error. This show doesn't make continuity errors, especially something so obvious like this. Everything in this show is purposeful. So using non-goat poop in that tunnel will be for a reason. But what reason? Who knows 😅 Maybe the poop was in fact laid by one of these goats, hinting that they aren't real goats at all. Maybe they are attempts at "manufactured" goats which have flaws such as "human looking" poop? Maybe these particular goats are manufactured "vessels" currently used to house the consciousness' of the previous Eagan's who've gone through "the revolving process"? These "goats" could be a temporary gousing for their consciousness until the vompany can replicate human manufacturing....maybe... It's anyone's guess what purpose the goats serve, and why that wasn't goat poop in the hallway. Regardless, it's safe to say there was a reason for the poop to not be pellets.
