No, it's not necessary, we ask all our customers to come in with clean face and if they have makeup, if they are running after work, we have them wash their face and eyes before they lay down on the lash chair. Then we do the cleaning if it has to be done

It is definitely appropriate to ask your customer to wash their eyes, just explain that you need to make sure that all the lash cleaning products are washed off, so that when you lash the eyelash extensions will stick better and will last longer and have better retention. :) Customers LOVE better retention and clean lashes too! :)
