I have been suffering from a hiatal hernia for almost 4 years myself. I have had the TIF procedure, numerous, endoscopies, barium swallows, manomotries, MRIs, CT scans, xrays, botox, dilatation, and on and on. I have been suffering from dysphagia so badly that I got to the point that I couldn't swallow water. They put me on a feeding tube 3/1 years ago because I lost 60 pounds in a three month period due to difficulty swallowing. I have been to 30+ specialists, naturopaths, healers and none of them have been able to help me get off the tube and be able to eat again. I even went to the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ and they were baffled. I would love to know if this technique could help me? I just want to be able to eat normally again. Tired of being sick and hungry...

Oh if I lived in the USA my hiatal hernia would not control my life. I had hiatal hernia surgery in 2017 , oh it was a great success for six years , now the symptoms are back, and with scoliosis my back really hurts. I also get sore throat, earache and bouts of vomiting. At least I now know a good chiropractor might help me. Thank you very much Dr. Johnston 😊

I wish I lived in the area! I have lost 16lbs in 4 weeks cause I can barely eat. If I do eat I feel it's not digesting, I've been eating only lean meats in super small portions, spinach salad, cucumber, avocado, almonds, potatoes. I feel so weak it totally sucks I'm so glad I found your videos I went to my chiropractor and his techniques are different but still brought so much relief, it was also comforting to hear him confirm that I was not able to breath correctly since all the doctors before labeled me as just having anxiety and panic attacks. They didn't care to check me much and just gave me dangerous pills, I was given Prilosec and had a horrible reaction, severe shaking, diarrhea, no appetite, vagus nerve going crazy, flushing, adrenaline and rapid heart rate that would happen over and over there's more but this is getting really long. Anyway I stopped the pills and went to my chiropractor he read my symptoms listened to me and got to work. Can't wait to go back next week.

Hey doc, wish you were in New York could use a good doctor around here who can explain and help people out like you do in your videos. I'm trying to take a trip to come visit you, I'm 23 and I've played sports my entire life and still do, but my feet, ankles and shoulders are always bothering me. I've always had sprained ankles and now this new thing which no doctor can seem to treat. Under my right foot in the arch going to the heel on the outside of my foot I feel like i can't walk and it hurts to walk. Doctors told me you must make surgery for this case because my stomach pass the diaphragm and jumps to my chest , there is no way only the surgery to return my stomach back to the normal . +Gregory Johnson Do you help patients who have had Gastric Bypass Surgery? I have had two surgeries, both over 20yrs ago. (One was corrective) and now have a terrible Hiatal Hernia. My Surgeon is saying because of scar tissue from the previous surgeries, my pouch has twisted & there is literally only a trickle of food/fluid able to move, which causes me to get sick & vomit on 75% of anything I try to eat. I still manage to get soft foods & fluids in me.. The surgeon says I am in for 18hrs of surgery & even after that, they may not be able to find a way to save my stomach because of finding adequate blood flow being available (because of the scar tissue). I am unable to lay down without getting sick (vomiting in my sleep if ANYthing is still in my stomach (pouch).. I sleep most days sitting up. Because of this I have horrible chronic pain in my neck/back. (I am on medication & get trigger point injections monthly for that. I am pretty much on an all soft food diet since the hernia has gotten so bad. I am a relatively healthy 47yr old woman. But I am terribly afraid of this surgery they are saying I NEED to correct this Hernia, the consequences seem great if all does not go well. I live in Florida, but I would find a way to come get treated by you IF there is a chance your treatments can help me. Can they? Or is my special situation too difficult even for you to help me?

My blood pressure plummeted when Dr. Selinky (he wrote "The Human Machine" book on the subject, he pulled my hiatal hernia out. Have you found huge blood pressure reduction in your practice. I was peaked 240/140, average was 190/110 and it plummeted to 90/60 immediately and made me dizzy, for 4 days, but has since become variable. Still pretty good, sometimes highish. I don't yet have enough proof that hiatal hernia and high bp correlate. Thanks.

I was similar to you. But I recently discovered "adhesions" in the thoracic cavity is our likely problem. Body parts stick together naturally due to stress and inactivity, and can be heredity based. Order serrapeptase and nattokinase from amazon.com, cheap stuff. They eat adhesions, litterally destroy any scar tissue inside or outside of the body, Amazing stuff. I'm on about day 22 of it. Feel your stomach just below the rib cage, push in, if it is stiff anywhere along the entire bottom of the rib cage, either side, that is likely an adhesion. I massaged that area alot, (I used a tool that I made) it softened up, and I've felt much better ever since. I have had a huge reduction in SIBO symptoms just from this massage technique, so I think adhesions were kinking my digestive tract, plus using Serra/Natto to hopefully totally cure my tummy, which I read takes at least 3 months, but I will keep going for over a year for results. I have to daily massage my tummy to keep it loose, if it's adhesions, and I think it is, they reform after they break apart. Day 24 of Serrapeptase and nattokinase, no real magic yet, I keep hoping. Just read a link connecting SIBO and adhesions. Which I believe cause hiatal hernia. Shena, No doctor ever mentioned adhesions to me either. to massage your tummy. I saw10 doctors in 36 years, hence doctors have been USELESS! Buy one of those two ball vibrating machines. They are heavy, 10 pounds ish, it plugs into the wall for power. It helps. I do it daily for 15 minutes. I found a long time ago it can plummet my blood pressure, temporaraily. Two shots of vodka could also plummet my vodka. But not a good habit.Worth tryingonce though.The doctors did not care about those significant results..., they are not real thinkers, but that WAS an adhesion/hiatal hernia clue. Maybe SIBO cause too..tbd. Plus for massage, I carefully use a tool (as in don't push too hard, you can rupture things) the tool at your house that you own I suggest is a hammer. Use end of handle. Grab the hitting end of the hammer with one hand, and the middle of the hammer with the other. Push the handle flat end into your tummy under the rib cage. Or use a soup can, beer can, can of spray paint, pledge etc etc. By far the best is ....I bought from the hardware store Home Depot or similar, a 1.5" diameter wood dowel (long- 18"). I added a plastic foot to the one end so it slides well. The kind you put on furniture feet so they slide on hardwood floors, I used the ones with a nail in it, just nail it into th dowell.) I massage my tummy with a light shirt on, or with some olive oil on bare skin. I sure hope the serrapeptase works fast, but as we know, months or years are needed. I have some scarring nodules on my hands and an injured finger that I have as a measurement point to see if it is working. No real progress yet, and I won't "pretend it's working" either. That's how a placebo works, I live in reality...good luck!

The Vagus nerve can effect BP various ways, for me it was because my Atlas (top bone in spine at the base of the skull) was out of place. Started getting that adjusted and my BP swings disappeared. I could have been direct pressure on the arteries feeding the brain or the nerve being pinched causing incorrect signals going to various glands. Search Atlantotec for a great read about the atlas.

Impossible to fix a hiatal hernia if is damaged to the diaphragm. But you can develop hiatal hernia if your scoliosis too extensively. Congulutation you have done very expensive massages 😂
