Dr.Gregory This is the first time I heard you say that you have done martial arts. I grew up at the Larkin home for children in Elgin Illinois back in the 80's and there were no cameras, computers, or baby monitor's so it was only what the staff saw and could hear and it was very abusive being raised be the state! I have over 8 broken bones on my medical record before I was 13 years old when I got transferred out of that God Awful place and once free/put into a home outside of state care I began to study martial arts because at age 13 I didn't want to be beaten and hurt again and I studied Kung-fu and Tenshi Akido for almost 30 years now and I never hurt anyone the way I was beaten and hurt as a child, the last few fights I've been in were nothing more than me blocking, grabbing the opponent and throwing him to the ground. After the second or third time they quickly landed on the ground they ALL reconsidered what they were getting into and backed off, usually with a B.S. excuse for needing to be somewhere or saying they were gonna let me off as they ran away fast
