Really funky seeing the sun setting so peacefully with that big black blanket of flashing storm cloud hanging overhead like an evil umbrella!!!!

Yes, this created one of the most picturesque sceneries that I had ever seen. Such a powerful and magnificent contrast - I`ll never forget it! Thank you for your comment!

Was there any reports of damage after the storm Rain1290

I remember this storm, it was at the end of the day. We were at a Tim Hortons on the South Shore and we could see the storm passing by in Montreal. It was spectacular!! My sister's gazebo got some minimal damage after pea-sized hail hit the city of Brossard on that afternoon.

This really was a fantastic thunderstorm, and the structural appearance of it was really captivating and unique, especially with the sunset in the backdrop!

Also strange how the storm system came from north to south
@Rain12909 жыл бұрын
+Galaxia Universe (Sky of the Galaxy) The thunderstorm family was typically moving from NW to SE, which is a frequent trajectory, but we more commonly see them come from West to East, or SW to NE. :)

Indeed, it is! This thunderstorm had a very striking structure as it developed and moved over the island of Montreal!
