I know I'm extremely late, but thanks for posting this video! One of my fondest memories of living here was this intense thunderstorm, and this brought back some vivid memories (whether good is to be judged).

Definitely a supercell I mean look at the structure of the storm plus all the positive lightning and the fact the storm is rotating.

I was in Manchester that evening, and SAW that very storm from a distance. Frustrated that the storm itself was so far away!! . . . . .Cromwell must also have been hit.

Wonderful video, my friend. However, be safe. Standing outside like that during a thunderstorm is very dangerous due to the lightning. I've had a couple of close calls myself. Safety first! I subscribed! I heard that lightning can strike up to 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. If you hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck.
