Around 4:30 PM a severe thunderstorm rolled through Hancock County, Indiana bringing frequent lightning, torrential downpours, and wind gusts over 60 miles per hour, knocking out power in areas around the county. The storm passed through Indianapolis, which was also under a severe thunderstorm warning for gusts up to 70 MPH. I got drenched in the making of this video from standing under a covered patio in the horizontal rain, so video didn’t always face the same direction to avoid the camera getting soaked or ruining the video quality. Enjoy two Timelapses at the beginning of the video, a full length video of the severe thunderstorm as it rolled through southern Hancock County and even an accidental slow motion video! My favorite severe thunderstorm to film since my Brunswick, North Carolina video. I hope you enjoy!
