A marginal risk for severe weather was issued over most of Wisconsin on July 11th, 2022. For much of the day, storms were generally quick to go outflow dominant and weaken. However, one storm which popped up near Beaver Dam, WI was able to become supercellular and gain a severe thunderstorm warning for a short time, before it also went outflow dominant and weakened as it moved into Lake Michigan. Winds with this storm weren't overly impressive at my location, gusting up to maybe 50 mph for a brief time, however some tree and shingle damage was reported about 1 mile away from my location. Small hail was also reported. Not the most exciting chase day, but considering I intercepted the only severe storm of the day across the state, I'd still consider it a success!
