Want to hear a kicker? That shiny new (used) aerial ladder that 81s got from Gorsch had a problem with the ladder lock. Casey initially blamed Mouch for it but when Hermann did some further research and called the Cleveland FD where the rig was purchased, it was indeed a mechanical/safety defect that NEVER GOT REPAIRED before Chicago took delivery!! Typical Gorsch.

As a CNA as well as patient there are very very very few things you go cheap on. Everything that has to do with firefighting EMT working in a hospital a nursing home there are just so many things that you cannot afford to go cheap on because if you do it could mean your job, even your life or someone else's life.

Gorsche taking a kickback was just the icing on the cake. Because even if he didn't, he STILL is liable for this. Look, Gorsche sucks at being a firefighter but the one thing he had was his ability to do the more "paperwork" part of the job. He rose to the ranks because of that right? So him "messing up" the detail of the supplier he chose making unprotected gear really has criminal intent all over it. He couldn't have missed this detail. It was intentional. He couldn't possible write this off as carelessness given that in the past, he excels at this "part of the job".

I love Kelly Severide because he's honest and doesn't a no for an answer and everything and he's amazing with kids and very protective over women and i can definitely tell that he loves kids and i can definitely see him be a father to his own children and he's absolutely no non-sense and he will find every evidence for the chicago police department needs and he has the firehouse 51 backs like firehouse 51 has his back and all of those firefighters they aren't just firefighters they are family forever and for life.
