Seville Spain February 2024

In late February 2024, Carole and Wayne traveled from home in Portugal’s Algarve region to Seville Spain. On this trip, we took a taxi to Ayamonte Spain bus station and then a local bus to Seville whose route through Huelva took us almost 4 hours. We also had the option to travel to Tavira Portugal to take a bus direct to Seville which arrives in about 2 hours. That’s the option we chose for the return trip home but seeing Huelva was nice.
We spent 3 nights in Seville and had a good time. We took a river cruise, a 14 stop Hop-on/Hop-off bus tour and we saw a wonderful flamenco dance show. We visited a bull-fighting arena and we saw a replica of Magellan’s ship that circum-navigated the globe. We walked the riverfront and nearby parts of the city extensively, we sampled a wide variety of food offerings and had a great time.
