Sevin, thank you. I got saved last year after a dream that Jesus took my hand. I had grown up in the church as a ministers daughter but All I saw was rules and left the church when I went to college. After I was saved, you were the foundation of my education. I started with your music and was blown away by your testimony and sermons. You are such a good example of discipline that we as Christians need to have in our lives. In your words I found the mixture of the standard and the love for us that Christ taught. Chris Young oh fasho amen. Even though I do agree with serving milk too. There are always going to be and should be new believers and “baby Christians” in a healthy church. They need milk until they are mature enough for meat. A lot of Christians want to stay on that milk though. That was my point. I’m guilty of it too. There has to be a maturing, this ban of large gathering can be just what some Christians need to be shaken out of “churchianity” into true Christianity.

That being said, the Orthodox Church without a doubt, has the Grace of the Holy Spirit in itself and it is working for the Salvation of man. Preach man, I hope some of y'all can pray for me, I have been escaping the act of feeding my flesh for the past months you know, it's been an on and off battle some days I would win and refuse temptation, some days I would give in and feed my flesh by..being influenced through the worldly pleasures you know, and I've been doing so so good lately reading the Bible, praying on a daily basis, growing my faith within and getting closer to Christ but..yesterday I did feed my flesh and I felt very very guilty of doing so and, I can feel that through these times we're already facing, I can feel that the devil is using this event to pick at my weaknesses and I ended up giving into temptation but..I ain't proud of it at all but with this said I am moving forward and trying to not let it weaken me, but strengthen me and cling to Christ you know I don't really fear that I will end up in this temptation thing again that I've been through before but..again, it could lead to that you know and I'm just reaching out for somebody to pray for and with me I ain't trying to be selfish just..trying to get closer and stronger in the spirit of Christ rather than feeding the flesh you know, God bless each and everyone of you, stay faithful, stay humble and kind, spread the word of God to those who not only believe but those who do not believe..God bless you Sevin God bless HOGMOB and G.O.M. @@christiscoming8654 If we could all be humble enough to admit it, we can all find ourselves having challenging times with the flesh, and even certain seasons of our life we can be pressured in different areas, mainly for our growth..but the scripture is clear, "the flesh profits nothing", thus we must ever practice beating it into subjection haha..from your phrase of "feeding the flesh", I will say this, the only way to begin to choke out the desires of the flesh, is to "feed the spirit", the substance you fill your spirit with is what will determine how much power you have to overcome in times of temptation..this still doesn't mean that we knock the ball of temptation out of the park "every" single time, why, because the Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak..and only His strength is made perfect in our weakness, so we only ever overcome THROUGH Him😉..I have discovered this as well, most times we tend to negligently wait until we are in the "moment" of temptation to try and quickly say or do something spiritual hoping that will enough to make it go away, only to find it doesnt work well that way..just like a star basketball player can't expect to pull off an all star performance if he never practices, the believer can't wait until the time temptation strikes to hurry up and feed the spirit, the spirit Must Be Fed CONSTANTLY, then you have enough substance in the inner man to draw from in times when its needed the most..as far as the feelings of guilt, you sound like you have enough in you that you truly love God and truly desire to walk with Him, so I will encourage you with these 2 scriptures.."there is therefore now no condemnation (guilt) to them which are IN Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.."-Romans 8:1..and "if any man sin, he has an Advocate🙌🏽 with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous.. "-1John 2:1 I pray that these scriptures will encourage, strengthen, and build you, that you will continue to overcome, and be led into righteousness and truth so that you experience the great things God has in store as you continue to seek Him! Also, having a solid fellowship circle is a wonderful asset to spiritual growth and overcoming temptations, if you don't have that, I pray the Father will begin to send mature genuine believers in your life that will be a blessing to you!
