Maidens material works better with a woman's voice.But of course, they cannot replicate his stage presence, Camaraderie with the crowd and other band members, or athleticism. There are loads of tribute bands coming out now, with female leads, I can think of 3 straightaway and one( maidens), are a global phenomennon, such is the reach of not only maidens, music, but the spectacular effects of female voiice, on material, which stretches the capacity of the male voice; Bruce is truly a phenomenon, how he manages the pitch variety so seamlessly(especiallly at the higher end), along with the speed necessary to enunciate the complexity of the lyrics, is beyond me. I would love to have seen And Wiilson, cover maiden songs back in the day, that would have been something interesting

@@Rowlph8888 Maiden's material works better with a woman's voice??? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Let's not get carried away here. Whilst this was nice, and different, give me Dickinson ALL DAY LONG. Whatever you're smoking it must be STRONG!
@Rowlph88882 жыл бұрын
@@Bobzilla67 I am not talking about this woman in particular, as this is average, and nowhere near as good a as the original. But a couple of tribute bands, I have heard with female singers, blow all other male singing tribute bands, out of the water, as far as Singing maidens material is concerned. Bruce is on record, as saying, recently, that his voice does not compare to Ann Wilson's, and that she and Janis Joplin, have the best voices in rock music history; ann's in particular, In terms of it's versatility and power. Generally, tthey have better range, and incredible power and stamina, at the "higher registers". Of course I have a soft spot for Bruce,, and with him, Performance most excellent word is not just about the singing capability(Which is brilliant), it's about his charisma and athletiicism as a fronnt man, which is unmatched and unmatchable.
@Bobzilla672 жыл бұрын
@@Rowlph8888 you know what they say about "opinions", right? That said, it's also just a matter of preference. And I find Bruce's voice--his, Warmth, Tone, and Power far more pleasing to the ears in Maiden's music than the female tribute band The Iron Maidens' vocalist (either of them)...they don't even come CLOSE. So there goes that theory. Bruce is just very Modest. Ann Wilson (was) a fantastic singer in her youth. But with Heart, and Covering Zeppelin (her style was CLEARLY influenced by Plant, and she Covered Zeppelin great). But as much as I try, I can't hear her singing Maiden better than The Man himself. F that shit. Only a Feminist (male or female) would take your BS stance.

Entrancing. A true muddy gem. I collect things like this. Little pieces of beauty dredged from the floodplains of KZbin. Wow Sevine. You are truly underappreciated. I'm gonna share you with my friends. I can't tell you how much this song means to me. I just lost my mom and dad. Jan 9 Dad left, he was in California. My mom went on the 10 of January in Malaga Spain.. They hated each other but they left this place together, both had dementia at the end. A wicked little curse on my dna from both sides of the family. I'm getting older and I can feel Mr. Alzheimer creeping in the door like a dirty wind. My friends talk about the things we did as kids but most of it is just shaded and faded empty picture frames. I'm trying hard to live well with the schizophrenia that came on without warning and snapped me out of the depression I've been wrapped in for almost two years. This song is like the other in me saying it's going to be okay, everything is exactly how it's supposed to be. I guess being a little schizo is a good thing sometimes. I really can't put it in words. Thank you Sevine.
@sevinecovers51853 жыл бұрын
I can't even begin to put into words what your comment stirred in me... I don't even know where to begin... I think it's extraordinarily brave of you to be this honest with yourself, and to have the courage to share your thoughts and feelings with the world... you must have a fascinating mind, and I hope you realize that having depression or schizophrenia or whatever else doesn't make you any less worthy of love, understanding, listening and compassion... I hope you are surrounded with people who truly love you and care about your well-being and happiness. Speaking of happiness, please please don't lose faith. It comes and goes. Sometimes, it's gone for so long, you think it's forgotten your address...but it will always find its way back to you, I so so so believe that... I'm happy to hear this cover brought you some kind of comfort, no matter how small... I'm honored to have contributed to that tiny fragment of magic, even if it was ephemeral...
