This song is about being an introvert. Tati said that was the original title for the song, but she changed it after her husband told her of the English term wallflower. They then made it the title track because it matched the artwork better, which was already done. There are multiple meanings in the video, but the band chasing her and coming in uninvited is a metaphor for the pressure she feels when having to write lyrics. Throwing her art at them makes it disappear. The music in the credits is actually from another song on the album called Pearls And Swine

Tati is an introvert and this song describes so well how it feels to be an introvert, I’m an introvert myself, so this song really hits home for me, I feel this song so deeply every time I hear it, one of my favorite Jinjer songs alongside I Speak Astronomy, Home Back and Perennial just to name a few of all my favorite songs by them, they have not made a bad song in my opinion… Love this band and Tati is not only a phenomenal vocalist, she’s also one hell of a genius lyricist, I love her…

In the video, there's a direct correlation to the pressure she felt for procrastinating lyric writing for the album to the last second. Her bandmates pursue her, pressure her. The bullets (sharp words) at them do nothing, but then she sees the wolves on the wall, realizes her defensive anger and her over-reaction in a situation she created ("turning mole hills into mountains"), and throws "her art" (metaphor for the lyrics they want) at the band and they go away. The wolf story (below) is critical to understanding her internal conflicts as displayed by the wolf art. Tatiana, believe it or not, is an introvert, which this song is all about. She's also a huge procrastinator. As you may have already heard, the band composes the music then sends her the demos to write the vocal lines and lyrics. But, she stresses a great deal over writing them and often procrastinates until the last minute. This video is symbolizing her frustration with the band over pressuring her to get the lyrics done on time, when she just wants to be left alone. You mentioned the progressive nature of the song. If you like that, then you will love the entire Wallflowers album. Vortex is the only other one youve done from this album, I believe. Call Me A Symbol, As I Boil Ice, Dead Hands Feel No Pain, Copycat, Sleep of the Righteous, Colossus, Mediator, Disclosure all incredible songs. But, I'd really love to see you do some older stuff to mix it up, and really see the evolutionof this band. Outlander and Scissors are musts!

the wallflower video, first seen christmas day 2021, was my introduction to jinjer. huge fan ever since. had tickets to see them in march 2022, but that of course got cancelled. finally got to see them last december in san antonio. amazing band! they are headlining LOUDFEST in zurich june 14, with another favorite very young band, The Warning.

Great reaction! As everyone has already stated, Wallflower is essentially the introverts anthem. The video represents the band wanting the lyrics (sand art in the red box) as Tati procrastinates, and when she throws the sand (lyrics) at them at the end, they go away. Very creative video in my opinion. I'd recommend maybe Cloud Factory live or perhaps Noah just because they don't get as many reactions. More Jinjer please and thank you! 🍻🤘

The outro is definitely 11PM music. In a way, this song has an element of "Publish or Perish" in it (the pressures that academia feel to produce new research/data on a constant basis). Tati feels the pressure to produce the lyrics to instrumentals already written by Vlad, Eugene and Roman. These pressures interfere with whatever else Tati is involved in (in the video, sand painting). Having put off the lyrics to the last possible moment, and up against the wall, her response unleashes her darker side (the black dog drawing) and dominates the songs mood. The boys get a little workout, dodging the bullets she's tossing about. "There gents, are you satisfied? The beast has been cut loose and the words are now captured." The End.

I love Jinjer so much and I`ve seen them on the Wacken Festival 2019......and broke my ankle in the Moshpit *LOL* If you wanna react to another great Band with a female Singer from Moldova I would suggest "Infected Rain". AWESOME Band with Lena Scissorhands as Singer/Growler/Screamer (and an optical delight!) wich I`ve seen twice live allready. Try the songs "Fool The Gravity" or "Lure" first Mate ;) Keep on with the great reactions!

The song is basically about Tatiana procrastinating on writing the lyrics to the new album and the other members of the band hounding and chasing after her. In the end she throws some of the sand art at them (a few songs worth of lyrics) to make them go away (that is where you see them vanish).
