Brilliant idea. Never have I thought to make a collar necklace before. I need to add a scallop collar and a rounded collar to 2 store bought dresses for Halloween costumes this year. This is a much better idea. So much easier. I will get the look I want without altering the original dresses much. I can't wait to give this a try.

Perhaps a golden safety pin under the shirt you are wearing, maybe one on each side to catch shirt and collar

@@paulabarnes3351 I wouldn't use pins. They can open and jab into the skin. A small piece of velcro would be better. or snaps.
