Can I use a different fabric if I want a stiffer, non sheer collar? Would the technique and measurements differ in any way? Also can I put some sort of boning inside if I want it to stand in like an elizabethian way?

Aww- glad to hear that. 😀🙏🏼😊 You will need to measure her neck measurement. The collar and ribbon length it’s up to you how big you want to make it. 😊👍🏼

@@muxies the length of the fabric x2 or x3 longer than a neck measurement. It’s up to you how full and gathered collar you prefer. 😊 Longer fabric will give you more gathering. 😊👍🏼

It depends what tulle you use. I am using very soft stretchy tulle. If you can find soft tulle- then it won’t be itchy. 😊👍🏼
