Thanks for actually doing sew-a-long. I have become more skeptical of reviews saying what an easy sew this is. Not necessarily for a beginner. Beautiful fabric.

Mary, another viewer had the same comment. I suspect that you tube is slipping an ad video in there before it shows you the pictures of me!! They are in there. I also posted them on my blog.

Thanks! I’m not gonna lie I was a little worried because it’s a lot of pink and fuchsia going on but I think I was able to pull it off.

Your tutorials are fantastic. Would be nice if you would say what type of fabric you are using each time and also would love to see you model your creation at the end so we can see how it looks on. Thank you for sharing your talent.

Hi Maria, I suspect that You Tube put an ad after I talked at the end (drives me bananas when they do this!), I usually say "stay tuned for pictures" in case they DO add in ads, which it sounds like they did this time around. Anyhow, there are pictures of me wearing the top at the very end of the video. I also posted some in my blog too in case you want to see them. As far as the fabric, its a rayon challis from Vogue Fabrics. I don't see it anywhere listed on their site as its something I bought off their shelves.

I love the tutorial and the fabric choice where did you get your fabric
@MassonLifestyle Жыл бұрын
I got it at Vogue Fabrics in Evanston, IL. It is not listed on their website BUT I’ve seen it there when I visited about a month ago. Perhaps send them a picture (they do answer their emails) and see if they can ship it.

I just picked this pattern up, you inspired me to make it. I've watched your sew alongs before, you give great information and so helpful. Only one issue I have is that you don't show the fit enough at the end to give us an idea how it really looks, please save more time for that at the end. Thanks and happy Sewing

Your blouse came out fabulous! Love the fabric you used. I made this pattern already but I found the front and back were off in length by about 1and 1/2 inches! This was longer on the front piece and after adjusting, my blouse was pretty short. Did you find this to be so also? I cut out the C/D version. Thanks for the tutorial--I really enjoyed it.
@MassonLifestyle2 жыл бұрын
Dawna I cut my pieces because it felt a tad too long for me, so I wonder if I missed seeing that when I cut the pieces. I may have to go back and make it again! Which I’m going to do!
@maureencapobianco3596 Жыл бұрын
It came out so pretty! Would you say there is a lot of ease? I’m petite and I sometimes find the big 4 patterns swim on me.
@MassonLifestyle Жыл бұрын
I wouldn't say it has TONS of ease like other Big 4 patterns. Ive seen some that have like 10" of ease and that's ridiculous. But this has around 4" of ease around the bust. and around 8 to 10" of ease around the waist. It also doesn't have a dart so I think that is what gives it that ease around the waist and hips.

What happened to the interfacing?
@MassonLifestyle2 жыл бұрын
Hi, both the front and back facing pieces are interfaced. I mentioned both of these that need interfacing when I go thru each pattern piece. My fabric is lightweight so the interfacing I used is lightweight to match the weight of the fabric. Hope that helps.

Im a newbie so stay stitching is a long length with little tension?
@MassonLifestyle9 ай бұрын
Stay stitching is a straight stitches and it’s done so your fabric doesn’t stretch while you are sewing. You should always lock your stitches at the start and ending.
@MassonLifestyle9 ай бұрын
Forgot to say, you do need tension on them.
