Last summer-when I found your videos I hadn’t sewn for quite a few years. At the time, I was sitting with my wonderful 40 year son who was battling cancer. Blake was aware of my former love of sewing, had experienced wearing my sewing projects as a little boy. I told him that when we got him well I was going to begin sewing again because of the inspiration I was getting from you and a couple of other ladies I’d found on KZbin. He thought that was great! God called him home on August 22. I know he’s well now-but I haven’t been able to get my brain together to begin sewing yet. So as I deal with the grief I’ll keep watching and I know one day my broken heart will heal enough to do the thing I used to love-and I’ll know our dear boy will be smiling down on my refound joy. So thanks for coming back-loved your makes and enthusiasm. 😊🌹

I think you look fantastic so don't beat yourself up about things. I really enjoy watching your reviews. and having only discovered them recently, am making my way through them all on youtube. My list of patterns which I can't find anywhere is growing dramatically.🤣 Brad, is extra funny and your dog is adorable. Being in Australia, I can only sympathise about the cold in Virginia but where I live in winter we do get down to around minus 7 celsius occasionally which is about 19 fahrenheit I think. Your husky would love the snow. I met some people while I was out walking my dog recently (she's a miniature Aussiedoodle which is an Australian Shepherd crossed with a miniature poodle) and we were talking about your dog and they were commenting on the huskies in the area here whose owners have a sled track for them (the sleds are on wheels since we don't get snow here) so the dogs can get lots of exercise. Apparently they just love it. I've just recently started sewing again after a break of about 5 years. I always had the same problems about instructions on some of the big 5 patterns companies but I have discovered Pattern Emporium pdf patterns and I'm a bit hooked. The instructions on these patterns togehter with the online tutorials are mind blowing and the patterns so precise. And no, I don't have any involvement with the two young women who design and market them. Just impressed with their ingenuity. I'm off to look at some of your other videos. I hope not to run out soon as I will need to start all over.😍
