These are very cute, the grandparents, & the service man. It would be easy to make a fireman, hairstylist, Doctor, librarian, School teacher, nurse etc. I love it! I'll have to try & make some. I'm going to try to make my own pattern, but if doesn't work, I'll buy yours! Thanks for the inspiration!

It strikes me that these would be a lovely idea to help a child suffering from a bereavement or if a loved one had long bouts of hospitalisation. They are very cute and very personal. Tfs.

Aww! Grandparent dolls are so sweet. I remember being a military wife. (1980’s) We were stationed in Hawaii one time when my parents came to visit. They quickly became grandparents of the whole neighborhood! Kids would come over to see the Grandma!!

I have been loving all these doll patterns!! I would love some sort of fireman uniform pattern for this doll. I love the idea of a "Daddy Doll" for when my husband is gone for his 24 hour shift as a fireman. He often goes straight from the 24 hour shift to his second job, and our 2 year old especially has been having trouble with how often he is gone. I think that would help! Thanks to your husband and your family for his/your sacrifice!

What a sweet idea! I think you could make a fireman version pretty easily. You don't have to make a jacket, but could do the pants with a t-shirt and suspenders? I'm not up on what firemen currently wear, haha!

I’m in bed with bronchitis and binge watching your videos. It makes me want to make everything, but especially versions of me and husband in this doll for our granddaughter who loves dollies and thinks I make everything! They're so cute! I love the one you made for your hubby - and he's a Ginger! I have a set of grandkids in another state. I should make a set for them but my husband passed away so I guess I could put some angel wings on him. And he had a big bushy mustache.

Super cute! I love your channel and your easy way. We have 3 little great-granddaughters and a baby girl granddaughter. Elen months ago after 5 boys my daughter gave birth to their #6 baby and they hadn't even picked a girl's name or chosen to have ultrasounds so were totally surprised! Yes you can! If your fabric is thinner, you might want to add another fabric behind it, a piece of muslin, or just another layer of the skin toned fabric. Baste them together and proceed as usual :)
