I realised after filming this that I was making it during the school holidays, after lockdown. So the bird page was made during the July holidays.

Your soul book was very interesting, beautiful and creative. Using a tea towel for a fabric theme piqued my interest as I have some favorite tea towels and never thought of them as theme fabric for a project.

Thank you. I think tea towels have an interesting texture. I also use batiks which are very fine. The tea towel is a nice contrast.

Thank you for your lovely comment. Have fun with the bird page. If you are doing the eyes (from hooks and eyes), something I've learned since making this page is to use coloured hooks and eyes from old bras. My friend goes to thrift stores to buy old bras and takes them apart. The lace could be useful too. I'm sure I have some lovely bras stashed away in storage, waiting for me to slim back into them. Don't think it's ever going to happen!
