The creative process of Improv intrigues me,...and I do like crumb/scrap quilting... as long as I have straight sides and square blocks.... I just can't do 'wonky' anything, or 'off' anything, or curved either! I find calmness in straight lines, and things lining up.

Creative process can be so much fun when looking for new combination. Narrowing it down is the interesting part because so many possibilities. I agree that we can overdo white backgrounds. I used a no white background for Tipsy Triangles and love the texture it added

A question; what brand is our solids fabric? I am interested but will make placemat there will be more useful.

Most of my solids are Bella from Moda fabrics. I love the feel of them and the slight sheen.
