Hi Rosie, only just found your blog, but your plans sounds really interesting. I will certainly look into the varies courses/clubs you run. I used to sew a great deal in my younger days-then work took over but been retired for a few years now & started to sew again. Have various health issues & the meds I had made me put on a lot of weight, however joined slimming world last August & lost nearly 4.5st-couple more to go to before I reach my target. The point of telling you this is I have done little sewing in the last yr (as gone from 18 to 14 dress size) & my confidence in sewing has gone. Probably not helped as having swopped by mechanical Bernina for a computerised one & also bought a Bernina overlocker (which is sitting mocking me in the corner). I have just signed up with Tilly’s overlocking course, as I need to face my fear of using it. So, am hoping that if I join your courses & get to know other sewers my confidence will return. Ali 🤷‍♀️
