I had to giggle as I sit here in my shirt and pj bottoms! Love your sweetness and how you stress to be gentle with yourself! I, too, have fibromyalgia for about 30 years. Back when no one knew what to do with me. I watched a vlog about journaling and she said reset in 2022. Taking care of yourself first! Another was cocoon when you need too. Exactly as you are saying also. Hearing the same thing twice is really helping me. I, too, will try to finish some of my quilts this year.🥰🥰🥰 Beautiful vlog, beautiful woman❣️ thank you 🙏🏼

Hi Jools, you have some lovely projects on the go. It is good to pass on those we have fallen out of love with for someone else to enjoy. I love Pretty Fabric and Trim kits too and have turned my volume 2 journal into a quilt, which I am hand quilting at the moment. Each page was too pretty to sit in a book never to be seen. This year needs to be about what soothes our soul and just gives us pleasure. Xx

This was just lovely to watch, Jooles 😊 I have many of Sarah and Penny’s beautiful kits and I’m working on the same winter sampler one right now! I just love how relaxing it is to stitch. I need to take a page out of your book and enjoy what I have…which is tricky when your favourite makers come up with beautiful new items or kits! 😄 But I need to try ☺️ Take good care of yourself! 💕

Jooles, You have a very beautiful, enjoyable podcast. Thank you. I live in California and I agree that 2021 has been difficult, especially on my mind, but thankfully I have my knitting. I too have fibromyalgia. I've had it for 28 plus years, back in the days when most doctors thought fibromyalgia was some sort of excuse for 'lazing around the house'. I really like the way you handle your colors in your quilts -very pleasing. Jacki

The prettiest makes... I'm looking forward to starting a Polesden Wrap soon - maybe when I have finished my Whitmoor! Those mittens are a Gorgeous pattern, and I do love the colours of Cama Rose yarn. I managed to knit along with the rainbow sock chronicles right up until December - how silly to stop with one month to go! A lovely knit along though, thank you so. Happy February!

I haven't started it yet but it is on my list of projects for this year. With those beautiful embroideries (from the Japanese book), you could always make that into a stitching journal or book, too. It would be so pretty set out on a table. Lovely episode! Thanks!!

I have a suggestion for your white and yellow mittens. I just move around the needle’s junction so the “larger space stitch “ will move around as the rows are adding and there is no noticeable large ligne .... I’m doing the same technique whit dpns, I always move the junctions were two dpns meet at every row or so ,then I it never making a noticeable larger line ...Thank you for sharing ,I spent a lovely morning in your company ,knitting socks ( advent !) 🤣

Hello Jooles. It was so lovely to sit down and knit whilst seeing all of your beautiful makes. I am really drawn towards all the beautiful soft pastel colours and your makes are always such a pleasure to see. Beautiful bits really are the most wonderful part of my yarn collection :) I need a lovely tin to put all of mine in so they have a nice home. I think that not completing the Rainbow Sock Chronicles will always be a disappointment for me, but what I did complete was a knitting highlight. 2021 just turned out to be more unsettled than I had imagined, so I am going in to 2022 a little more cautiously with no grand plans and to just take each day as it comes. Hope you are feeling better soon x

A wonderful podcast as usual! You have so much talent and are willing to share it with us. I’m sorry you have the January blues. Lots of us do in these weird times! One thing that helps me immensely when I feel down in the dumps is to be of service to others. This is how I deal with it and I’m not suggesting you don’t already do this, just something I find helpful. Of course this is unasked for advice! Just to let you know from someone who has been there. Blessings and love ...💕

So enjoying seeing your wip parade. It reminds me of mine… now I don’t feel so bad. I’ve had the whitmoor cardigan on my que for quite some time (and yarn purchased about a year ago from the lovely Sherry Iris). I’ve been swatching and am realizing I will need to alternate skeins. I’ve watched a few tutorials but am not sure where to alternate as the button band is the edges. Where are you switching skeins? I know you may be too busy to respond before your next podcast…. Which I understand. I hope you are starting to feel better. I am finding comfort in my wips. My father passed in September and them my eldest moved out of state… it’s an adjustment. I love love love your content. Thank you for your beautiful podcast. It always brings a lightness to my heart.
