You can use the FLORA add ons with other Arduino-compatible boards, Adafruit also has more standard header-pin 5v versions of each (FLORA boards are round and 3v-- smaller and sewable), and the libraries are the same. The GPS uses RX/TX and the accelerometer, lux, and color sensors use I2C. You can post up your project ideas in the wearables forum on Adafruit where our staff hang out!

I'm trying to make a basic wearable gps logger with FLORA and the wearable GPS, using the inbuilt data logging. I noticed the downloaded libraries had a flora_gpslog option and a normal locus_start option, what's the difference here?

I wish I could have the GPS send info to a server. Guess the only way would be to add Bluetooth and Pair to Phone to then develop a custom App. Still love it, could add it to people like my autistic brother and let him navigate and know he is where he needs to be based on the time of day.

I'm quite new to microcontollers.. Can you use the FLORA addons (specially the GPS and the Compass w/ Accelerometer) with other Arduino Boards? Like the TinyLily? What protocoll does it use.. is it I²C? I want to keep my upcoming Projekt as small as possible. Thanks

Yes you would need some wireless action if you were not with the device and the cell phone network would be the cheapest and most paratical that I know of.
