We have soak aways for surface water here, at times of high rainfall when the water tablets rises, they don't work properly and take a lot longer to drain

@08:45...I think the rod dislodged whatever it was blocking it and then when you shoved the hose back in, that's when it bumped the clog and opened up the line.

i would have tried a long lance first my jetter is fitted with a pressure relief valve so can turn on and off viad lance trigger

my jetter does have a pressure relief but I have a dump lance as I like having the top for washing down with a bit less pressure also my jetter would build up the pressure to 4000psi before pulling trigger so has quiet a kick to it the dump lance stops it doing that

I bet the reason they haven't rang u is because you emptied all the chambers, and they haven't filled up, so the septic and soakaway isn't doing its job so I reckon u will get a call eventually

Once all the shit has run into the soakaway, the soakaway is about buggered.

Pretty much it never harms to try jetting it. its the cheaper option that replacing but you can never guarantee it will work
