So true, the same when I worked on a farm. Genuinely the smell gets right into your clothing even if you have nothing splashed on you but you really can't notice it.

Snow??? All we're getting is rain, cold, cold weather and sleet, ugh.

I had a 7-8 foot deep manhole that was full of sewer. We couldn’t unclog it with our equipment, so we had to hire a bigger jetter. They were barely able to clear it, but it wasn't fully flowing. After it drained down, we found a grocery bag full of clam shells that was double bagged. I had to get an extension ladder to go down and grab it. It was way too big to fit in any pipe, so someone had to lift the over 100 lb manhole lid to put it down there.

Your work keeps families and communities healthy and functioning by clearing the waste we produce daily. Such critical work you do, and hoping you are enjoying some family time before the busy periods ahead.

Hey Nathan! I noticed something strange which I can't figure out. At 6:00 when you vacuuming the clarifier, why is the water level still the same in the aerator and not sinking as you suck out the clarifier? How are these two chambers connected?
