How to Sew a 4 Step Buttonhole on your Sewing Machine

In this video I'll show you step by step how to sew a four step buttonhole on a Brother L14S sewing machine, however, the principles will be the same or very similar for all four step buttonholes. I'll show you how to attach and position the foot correctly, how to line up the foot with your buttonhole markings on the fabric and how to stitch the buttonhole out. Did a boy's shirt with buttons down the front and needed to improve a bit, so your video helped me for the next shirt. I have an old White machine and the 4-step buttonhole and know how to hand sew buttonholes too. But getting some help from you will make it even better. I started sewing on an old Singer treadle that was given to me. Everyone had a brand-new modern machine and I got started on that. So then I got the White sewing machine from the late 70s and I love it. It is still running well.
