Lucy this dress looks gorgeous on you! I have a question… on the waistband does it have 2 elastics per row? For some reason it looks like double elastics on the band

Lovely dress - so many variations. Do you think that this would be a good post pregnancy dress because of all the elastic elements?

I had my Amber for couple year. Watching your video I saw that you pointed out that there is marking for Seam allowance. My does not have those marking. Is this something they add later? I wondering if you could tell me from the needle is where the 3/8 mark begins. This would be helpful to mark my machine

It is a very nice dress. But I really adore the red dress on the mannequin in the background. Would you please share with us what pattern that is?

Have always loved a Grecian style dress. You have made this a modern youthful take on a classic!

Aaaah thank you Julie, I never thought about it like that, but you're right it definitely has those Grecian vibes, thank you.

Someone else asked if they could lengthen in the comments above, I suggested an easy way to do it if you're interested.

Ooooh I think I saw the gorgeous viscose fabric you were using, or was that another one? Either way a winter version will be beautiful, can't wait to see yours Gina.

Hi Lucy, Would you be able to make this dress to be below the knee? Thanks x
@SewEssential4 күн бұрын
Absolutely, there is a maxi version included, but if you just wanted to lengthen the version I made slightly you could just add some length at the hem quite easily using tissue paper or measuring and marking beyond the pattern piece on your fabric.

If you also have a front yoke that you also want burritos, do you sew the front and back yokes together at shoulder, then burrito all at once. I would love to see video of this. I'm making robes for grandgirls, and thought it would be nice.

I love your mini wrap dress and the fabric. Is it a knit? It looks like. I've made a summerdress out of the same color and pattern some years ago but it had been a thin woven Viscose.

If you wear a high-collar slim-fitting sweater, the second dress might also look nice in an autumn/winter version with slightly heavier fabrics like wool.
