Trygve, what's the most hair-raising, adrenaline-rush pass you've been on in the Cape? To me, descending to Gamkaskloof at dusk as a passenger beat the hell out of anything else, but I also recall a seemingly uncambered gravel pass to somewhere on the West Coast many years back.

Is free hiking allowed through out this poort ? I am a reptile photographer and is keen to look for reptiles in this Area?
