Maybe you can put a bow over seam at neckline to hide the seam or some buttons or other decor

Re the neckline, no one will notice it bar you but I would have to change it, that’s the only way I know which way is front and back on my T shirts as I hate itchy labels 😂. Hi , I did exactly the same thing with the neckline on a T shirt a few weeks ago. I just put a tab of the same material over it (much like adding a belt loop)attaching it to seam line on the back. People have commented that it looks so modern. Beautiful dresses.

Put a little bow or something over that boo boo...so you always get things done...weather is so iffy here, too. We had tornadoes and flooding this week but thank the Lord we were spared anything really bad. We now are warm during the day but cooler at night... Georgia weather is like if you don't like the weather wait a little while and it changes.

Your dresses turned out so cute!! I did the same thing once…put the neckband seam in the front. Fortunately, the neck line is about the same in the front and back, plus it’s a knit dress. So guess what I do…I wear it backwards! Problem solved!! 🤣

Your dresses came out great. I thought I was the only person to question the fabric selection at joanns. The closest joanns to me is a 25 mile drive, one-way. And they carry predominantly fleece, flannel, and quilting cotton. I've started to order more fabric on-line but it's so difficult to make an informed choice. Maybe you could give us clothing sewers some tips on buying on-line.

I can be kind of bothered by some of my small mistakes too, but to undo something can be a pain. I would cover the collar seam with some small embellishment, so I wouldn’t have to unpick and sew over. It would also depend on the type of fabric as well. We want to feel good in our makes either way 😊 Your dresses came out nice.

I hit the like button before you even start talking! You are so fun and creative. You inspire me each week. Yes, I am over rain. It is a beautiful sunny day in Santa Cruz and no rain forecasted for at least a week. I’m making an Easter dress for my new granddaughter with cute bunny vignettes on the fabric. I know Easter is not about bunnies but it is cute fabric and I had it already. I also love Easter. My favorite service of the year is the Good Friday service which is sad but I know that Resurrection Sunday follows. Will you be coming to Santa Cruz to camp this year? I would love to see you again.

I would take that neckline and fix it!! I usually have to do them 3 times a shirt anyway to get the exact fit right :) So what is the difference to doing another one again. I learned that with knitting, "if you don't want to ribbit don't knit it" and knitting takes so much longer to redo .

Here’s a question, or topic: Where does everyone get their fabric for clothing? The nearest fabric store that sells dressmaking fabric is two hours away in another state! Do people buy online? If so, where? Also, what description of fabrics do you search for when buying online? I’m a “feely” person, and normally would go into a shop and feel everything. I can feel the weight, the drape, the thickness, the scratchiness, etc. What are “safe” fabrics that you’ll feel comfortable buying online for dresses, tops, pants.
