I have one for you to try that we use in making fine dressmaking: Remove your top (needle) thread. Reverse thread your machine using your bobbin thread. Thread the needle from the back to the front and continue the rest of the way. Start stitching from the bottom of the V (do not backstitch upon starting - it defeats our purpose) and continue to the top of the V. Do a single backstitch at the end to complete. The result is you have a beautiful dart with no dangling threads at the start.
