Thank you so much for this! Every tutorial I've seen before has been either open to open or open to closed, never both closed. So when my current project had me close both sides, I had no idea how to attach. But this was so helpful and well explained!

This video is extremely helpful! So many patterns just assume that we know how to sew everything together! I love your etsy shop and now I'm happy to have stumbled upon your KZbin channel!

This video really came in handy. I just finished all the pieces for an AMIGURUMI cloud sprite and was putting off on the assembly of sewing on the pieces. I think I can sew them on now because of watching this very helpful video. Thank you so much. 😀😀😀😀

Great video. Sewing the tan head to the brown body looks so much easier in terms of the angle of the needle, so I am going to try this for my next one with the same colour head and body 🙂

This was so incredibly helpful. I was at a total standstill (pattern was well written but gave no instruction on how to sew the different colored head to the body ... sewing behind the posts was brilliant!). Thank you for posting.

Curved needles help a lot. I see so many who don’t use them and struggle.

I agree! I used to use a straight needle, but once I started using the bent tip, I will not go back!

Good morning Theresa do you ever give classes in person for your Amigurumi? I know that when I was learning how to bead I liked taking in person classes with particular designers, it was so much fun and you learn so much in person!!

Oh Theresa, you're an angel!! I was struggling to sew an amigurumi head and this video really helped me a lot. One question tho: is there any tip you can give on the positioning so that the head doesn't "tilt". Mine almost always shifts to one side or the other.
@theresascrochetshop
@theresascrochetshop Жыл бұрын
Hi there! I'm so thrilled to hear this video was helpful. Getting the head in the right spot - and not tilting too far one way or the other - can be tricky! I usually partially sew on the head, check the position, and then see if I like how it looks. If it is starting to tilt, I pull out the stitches I just sewed until I am happy with the position. My best recommendation is to check the position after every single stitch you sew - and check from every angle! :) I hope that's helpful. Let me know if you have other questions!

what i do is place is how i want it, then put pins on the body or head marking around where im going to sew, if that makes sense.

I just get a long piece of yarn of the same color and use that. It's also easier to use an acrylic yarn thats a similar color to your plush yarn . way easier
