Sewing Easy Double Welt Pockets

Sewing Easy Double Welt Pockets. You may know a welt, or double welt pocket as either a jetted or bound pocket. No matter how you refer to it, this style of pocket is set into a slash within a garment. Pocket positioning and alignment is essential! Pockets that are sewn into a slash do require great accuracy and as some of you may already know, also involves a great many fashion sewing processes to get just right.
The pocket itself is composed in two parts.
The Welts - Pieces of fashion fabric that are visible on the right side of the garment. The Pocket Bag - Created in two parts and placed on the inside of the garment. The under pocket is longer than the upper section to compensate for the depth of the pocket opening.

I did it! Barring a few issue with the thickness of the interfacing and stitching in the ditch, I did it! I was using scraps so no harm, but I'm doing it again with a thinner fusible interfacing this time. I think It'll turn out EVEN better. Thanks for the great tutorial.
