What a great organization system! I like that it doesn't take a lot of writing, and is mostly clicking. I also like that you can connect it to multiple categories, because that's what's hardest about sifting through my current organization system (or non-organization system) is that many patterns fit multiple categories. Thanks so much for sharing your plans! I also love your filing cabinet. That is an awesome Christmas present, for sure!

Looks great Grace and this video will be so helpful for everyone. Not for me though, I'm still old school but I think the is the best system I have seen. I can see that if you live somewhere where you have access to new patterns in a shop it would be fantastic and save money on doubling up. I only ever buy patterns online so this isn't an issue for me. Great job for highlighting it ❤ x

Carole, I actually find the app useful when I'm out shopping for fabrics. I can pull up any pattern & the back of the pattern on my phone to see all the information I need for any pattern. That's why I got it in addition to the organization. I use it in every fabric store I go! It's definitely going to come in handy when I go to the quilt show in March! 🥰

I have recently purchased this app too. I find it invaluable to see all my patterns in the same place as I have a lot of digital indie patterns too which can’t be stored with the Simplicity Butterick etc. so when i need to say choose a dress pattern the app shows them all to me without me having to rifle through different boxes and bins. Thanks for the idea of the ‘made’ category. I’m going to add a Made 2024 category so at the end of the year I can see how many i’ve made!

I have the App since 2022 and I love it. I categorize by pattern brand. I use source to classify between woven and knit. I have the pay version. I use in my Ipad, Iphone and MacBook. I enjoy your videos. Happy new year!

Thanks so much for this info Grace! I am definitely going to check out that app - I loved your demo of it! I have been wanting something exactly like this! Also I think entering my patterns into multiple categories (top/pants/skirt, etc) will make me see views I have overlooked in the past. For example, if I bought a pattern specifically because I liked the shirt , I may have paid no attention to the pants included or whatever else. A great way to discover new patterns that I already have! (if that makes any sense) Your new cabinet system looks wonderful! UPDATE: I just bought and downloaded the app 😁

Great tutorial thank you Grace. When I go to the fabric store it will be handy to have all the pattern information at my fingertips especially if I come across some great buys at a sale and see a perfect fabric but can't remember the notions required etc.

Hi Grace. I really enjoy your videos. Loved the "embrace the lace" collaboration & looking forward to the denim one. This tutorial was very helpful. I have this app & you helped me navigate much better. I like it because it keeps me from purchasing duplicate patterns & with yardage requirements. I do have difficulty reading the back of the pattern. When I go to the picture I usually need to enlarge it but it becomes blurred. Does this happen to you? Do you have any suggestions for me? Hi Grace! I took a read of the Lite version of this app, but didn't see the answer to questions rolling around in my head. Perhaps I skimmed over the info too quickly and missed the answers. The biggest question I have: Is it possible to transfer the app and all the data that we've entered into a new phone? Another question: As newer versions of this app become available, will sewists have to then re-buy the app, and will the pattern info be accessible via the newer app(s)? I have A LOT of patterns and would hate to have to re-enter the info each time and create another new data base. Thanks! 🥰 Dori

Absolutely! Why not? I would just put in the name of the Indie pattern company in the Source field and the Pattern Name/# in the Model field. Treat the Indie pattern company just like the Big 4 main pattern companies. Please let me know if you have any other questions. ENJOY!
