Sewing Projects - Nudie Suit in Progress

This Country Singer-style nudie suit is a current sewing project I am working for a client of mine at Sew Original. It's been quite the challenge figuring out where all those flower and rhinestones go but also a ton of fun!
Sewing and alterations are a large part of what I do but it's projects like these that really inspire me to break out of my comfort zone and be purely creative. It teaches you to never be afraid of trying something new, no matter if you are just beginning sewing or have been doing it for years as I have.

I've wanted to make myself one of these for 40 years or more. I've been a lead singer most of my life starting as a child. And I've always been afraid to I need to just buck up and get it done. Thank you for the inspiration.

Hey, Nancy! Wow, I am IN LOVE with this suit. Not ugly at all in my eyes, just very stylish. I would love a follow up video on this, since I'm also in the process of making my country-musician boyfriend a "nudie" suit. I would love to hear how you sew on those patches, and the process of rhinestoning (which size to choose, how to ensure they're not falling off etc). Hope you have a great weekend!
