Your room is coming together nicely. Love the white furniture. The shelves in the cabinet look nice and deep.
@crumpetsteaandsewing3 жыл бұрын
Hi Manecoarse! Yes, the cabinets are deep. That’s why I chose this setup rather than the more popular IKEA setup. I find that a lot of the IKEA furniture takes up a lot of space IMO. Thanks for watching. 😁

I am here with you!! I'm currently in the process of getting my sewing room together. I love the progress you are making, that fabric closet looks so nice and neat! I cannot express how important I feel it is to not have clutter! Thank you for the insight on that awesome peg board ...easy without the holes in your walls. Love it! I look forward to the final reveal.

Hi Heather! Thank you so much for commenting. 😁 I agree. It feels so much better now that it's decluttered. And my mental health seems to have gotten better because of it 😆

Maybe those narrow cutlery bins that fit in kitchen drawers would work for the button cabinets. Great job so far!!

I don't have a sewing room but have been working on organizing all my sewing things. Just got a great deal on a small sewing cabinet with hydraulic lift. Six bags of fabric! My goodness, I am so sorry. That sounds like the hardest part of your makeover. Thanks for the ideas you have given me.

Great economical choice for the fabric organizer from the dollar store. That's okay about that backboard, you can spray paint that, love the storage cabinets. Oh my gosh, I remember doing a few big destashes of patterns and it FELT SO GOOD!! Ok, now I'm off to watch the reveal!!
@crumpetsteaandsewing3 жыл бұрын
Hi Nateida! Again thanks so much for supporting the channel. Yes, we decided to leave the backboard of that one cubbie alone. No one will know but me lol. I had mixed feeling about the destash though 😕 Like I knew I need to free up space and declutter the room, but I also didn't want to get rid of my patterns lol Lesson learned. I'm definitely working on being more conscientious with my purchases. 😁
@SewNaturalDane3 жыл бұрын
@@crumpetsteaandsewing I understand, I think I've only had to buy 1 pattern that I destashed so far.

Your sewing room is coming along nicely. I love how you added your fabric on boards. It'll be easier for you to find what you're looking for when you set out to make something. Perhaps you could use those rectangle drawer organizers in your button drawer. Similar to the ones you use for cutlery. (I just organized my kitchen gadget drawers and I picked up some nice ones from TJ Maxx and Target). I'm looking forward to the reveal!

Oh yes! That sounds like an excellent idea Crystal! To bad I have too many buttons for that. I would definitely like to do that in the future though. Thanks for the tip. 😁

Congrats on your progress. While I truly commend you for donating your patterns and fabric I am also truly jealous that I couldn’t purchase them from you 😂. I can only imagine the treasures someone will find in the stores. Ready for the reveal 🥰

🤣🤣 Yes, finding certain patterns and fabrics in thrift stores are rare. I hope someone can use them. I’m excited to show the reveal video. Thanks for watching.

You are doing good Tee. No you are not alone. Because I view it as a plus of having a lot. When you begin to construct your project, you don't have to go back to the store - you already have it, that is my take. You do have a lot and some BEAUTIFUL fabrics. You will feel better once you have organized and completed. I know that I am addicted to anything related to sewing. Tee hope u don't mind me asking, but where did you get the sleeves from for $6.99? I paid $16 for 100. Needed some more but never ordered anymore. Will order where u got your from. Thanks

Hi friend! Thank you so much for sharing and commenting! Yes, those sleeves are a life saver. Unfortunately, they went up in price a few dollars. But still better than paying $16 bucks. Here's the link to the ones I bought though. www.amazon.com/dp/B07V1QB5TC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
