I use thread from Sunny Sewing - Amann thread Tex 70&90 but it is sold other places. I also use Geekyhardware.com Tex 80

Question... is the bottom vinyl 4 inches and top vinyl 3 inches on your strap 😊

No it’s double the width of the vinyl strap. So 2” bottom 1.75” top
