Hi Sarah, would you consider doing a video on cutting lace so that you get a mirror image. I seem to be having a hard time with this. Another excellent video! Thank you! Happy Labor day!

Hi there, I love this pattern! Could you please tell me what width elastic stabilizer you used? I'm a little confused... You said if I have a Serger, which I do, I could go over top of the basting with the serger to finish off. Would that mean with the Knife turned off? Thanks so much.

I believe she used a 1/4 “ elastic for the leg openings. Yes, turn off the knife as you would not want to Nick the elastic.

@@Cynthia2v Thanks Cynthia. Thanks for the clarification. Guess what? I can not get the two knife on my Serger to disengage and I'm destroying the 1/2" elastic I am practicing on. I'm working on a Brother 1040D. Any suggestions? Serging is terrifying! Thanks!

Momzilla, you will only be able to disengage the lower knife. Try pulling the knob and twisting. I had a Pfaff serger that did that. Hopefully that works, check your owners manual if you have one. If you don’t, go online and look for one. Put your model number in search bar and you should find one. Let me know how if works out. I like this pattern. I think I may try and get some pretty silk or poly.

@@Cynthia2v I went over the manual, did what they said, and the top knife still kept cutting. I think I will take it to a repair shop, and have him teach me how to take the knives out. More tears over those dang blades than I can count. Sewing a curve on this thing is torture. Thanks
