Wow! Phew, I'm out of breath just watching you! You provide us with so much information and I love seeing what fabric combos you recommend. I have to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of the billowy, oversized clothing. I'm 5'2" and not rail thin - not overweight either, but these styles overwhelm my frame and often make me look overweight and frumpy. Do you ever do pattern/fabric combos for various body types or heights? Thanks for all the work you put into all of your videos.

Thank you Lucy. Loved seeing all the new trends. I will also be sticking to my skinny jeans as I have so many of them in different colours. I love to see your sewing tutorials on making clothing items. Thank you again and keep up the good work. 👏👏

Really enjoyed this one Lucy. Must confess however that the first time I watched this I was very short on sleep and zoned out when I saw the large stack of fabric. I drifted in and out of sleep thinking how fortunate it would be to own a fabric store! I watched it again and stayed awake this time!

Thanks for this lovely video. What are trends? Is it what the designers dictate or what customers want? Personally I don't follow trends, never have but just wear what I like which may or may not fit in with 'trends'. I love the Vicky Sews Esther dress so I may have to buy that pattern!

I was smitten with everything you've shown (although I would take a pass on the pink blazer) but I do have a question. Could you please explain what you mean by "dead stock" fabrics? It's such a sad name for such lovely fabric!
@LuzMartinez-if1dw Жыл бұрын
Hi ! Are the fabrics priced per meter or half meter please

Hi Lucy great video this week. Went on to website to buy some fabric and couldn't locate the new ones, when will they be live?
@SewEssential Жыл бұрын
Hi Katherine, they are live, but aren't showing in the categories for some reason, very frustrating. If you check the description though you will find the individual links to each and every fabric featured and we will work on getting them to show up properly too.

Hey Lucy thanks for the tour de force! Can I ask what the blouse you are wearing is? I thought it was a v-neck one I saw you wearing another time and asked you about but it seems to have a collar. Really pretty. Great video. Now have lots of ideas!

The Stylearc Armidale dress has this sort of neckline and could probably be turned into a blouse very easily

Love the Viki Sews trousers, however, won't be buying that pattern on general principle.

Viki sews patterns are HALF the price from Etsy ....why pay double buying from the company...I buy all my viki sews payternsvfrom etsy they arrive in seconds...
@252jdw1 Жыл бұрын
I personally prefer to have a multi size pattern as I have to grade between sizes. It also means that you don’t have to print numerous A4 pages and assemble or send off for printing at an additional cost. I have bought the patterns from Etsy but find that with the need to grade between sizes it is easier so it works better for me to buy the pattern in this format.
