Great commuter tote bag. I am making one for my son Outside 2 and inside 2. I think the straps are too long and will feminize it and a grab handle will be more appropriate. Ideas for how long to make the grab handles, please? Again great bag! And you said you can always think of different ways to construct a bag so writing a pattern is difficult - but this is where the videos really come in handy. Thank you, Lauren! Great job! .

Congrats on the new pattern! Love this bags features! If I wanted to make it into a smaller purse size, could I just make it x percent smaller (to like under 8" in width) and would it still work, or will that mess something up? I would do the option without the webbing outside and option 2 inside.

I bought this pattern right away I cannot wait to make it !!!! I’m wanting a machine like yours my question is should I get the 1181 or 1541? I like how the 1541 is stronger but obviously it’s not needed for bags yours seems to do great on everything you make. And I love the safety clutch on the 1541 so it doesn’t knock out of timing …. But is that necessary? Has yours knocked out of timing before? Thank you !!!!

I have not knocked out the timing Checkout the Thor 1541! I have a cylinder arm version and enjoy it!
