Thanks for the cute ideas. I have a very handicapped neighbor and the idea for a simple back pack would work well for her. I believe I have some canvas and strapping or fabric that I could make one for her.

Wow, I just had a lightbulb moment using those magnetic closures! I have a beautiful faux leather tote bag I use when I'm travelling but it doesn't have any type of closure. I've been trying to think of ways I could modify it and add a closure of some kind, but nothing seemed workable. Watching your tutorial I think I can attach the magnetic closure to a couple of patches and use a strong adhesive to attach them to the inside of the tote bag. I think it's a perfect solution! Thank you!

I bought some sew in magnetic clips from Amazon. Same thing ya just sew on after instead of putting into the fabric. Excellent for adding on as an afterthought 🙂

Love all those projects! Here in Phoenix we have fabric dept in alot of our Walmarts, plus JoAnn's but I love HobbyLobby quite a bit for shorter lines & great customer service, they're never open on Sundays though 😢
