Does anyone know what that white plastic "thing" she is using as a guide for the stitches when she machine sews is?

The white strip is a plastic strapping band and often used for packing work. In areas with thickness, there may be unevenness at the presser foot, causing the pressure and feed teeth to be less stable than usual. To increase the pressure and stabilize it, we intentionally use PP tape to raise the height of the presser foot. This is also useful for straight guide line.

Bonjour! La bande blanche est une bande de cerclage en plastique souvent utilisée pour les travaux d'emballage. Dans les zones épaisses, il peut y avoir des irrégularités au niveau du pied-de-biche, ce qui rend la pression et les dents d'entraînement moins stables que d'habitude. Pour augmenter la pression et la stabiliser, nous utilisons intentionnellement cette bande de cerclage pour rehausser la hauteur du pied-de-biche. Ceci est également utile pour les lignes de guidage droites.
