Thank you, thank you, thank you. Even with the book and DVD setting up the lower looper was tricky. Happily cover stitching now.

I found a used Coverlock 4872 recently for US$100, and this series of videos has been invaluable for figuring out how to use it! Thanks so much for these!

Thank you so much! Your instructions helped me figure out the manual I have for my PFAFF 4862 Coverlock. The manual was not helpful at all, in fact I was more confused each time I turned to it. You saved me totally losing my mind and my temper and destroying everything. Oh and love that it's Australian!

I watched this video after trying for several hours to figure out how to set up the Coverlock using the instruction book. I was doing it all wrong--you set me straight and I got it up and running! I never would have done it without your video! Thank you so much!

Perfect! I have a singer 14t968dc but it is just the same as the pfaff so your demo was great. Vince Acuri is very nice to demonstrate the singer but his videos are too long and he has difficulty with focus as well as getting off on tangents. Your video finally got me to understand what to do AFTER threading, which I couldn't find anywhere. I have the huge handbook but I didn't find how to actually start to sew my coverstitch. So thank you again for your clear demo! And the pro finishing of a circle was great too because before mine was never even at the end.

Thank you for this video. I have the 4.0 but threading is the same and the manual isn’t very clear. I kept trying to thread the 3 needle by using the green threD guide.

Many many thanks. You aré wonderful. I am from Costa Rica, which doesn't give support to Pfaff. I bought my Coverlock 4.0 one year ago at the US and I couldn't use it even I have tried many many times And the manual is not very good. With your video No. 2 I have seen where was my error and now my Coverstitch is working fine ! I really appreciate your help. Although version 3.0 is very similar to 4.0 if you have any vídeos please share them too. My best regards. Ilse

I have just recently come across your KZbin channel and I also have Pfaff 3.0. (New for me) I have seen your instructions on how to thread the bottom threads but the thread placement for the needles does not show the full placement through the thread path. I have tried to place where it indicates, but it’s so confusing! Please help. 😍 I Owned a BERNINA fund lock for 35 years and absolutely loved it but it was not a five thread. So this is so new for me I need all the help I can get thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you

Hello, Margaret, and thank you so much for your videos. I had a question that I hope others will benefit from as well. I would like to attach picot elastic to underwear made of knit using the elastic foot for the Coverlock 3.0. On the manual, it gives me the option to set up the machine only with needles C and D, C and E or C, D and E for coverstitch, but the picot elastic, which is only 1 cm wide, sits on the right side of the foot, so if I use a narrow stitch with needles C and D, the thread for the left most needle goes off the elastic. Would it be ok to thread needles D and E together, without C, or would there be a different solution for this application? Thank you so much for your help!

I know I'm threading it well and dial the right tensions according to the manual but it still gives me nightmares and doesn't do the underneath overlock or the purple thread breaks...what is the matter please?
