Saskatoons are little berries similar to blackcurrants/ blueberries grown on the prairies of Canada. I can remember picking them while staying with my uncle and aunt in Saskatchewan on their farm.

I hope everything goes well with the thyroid medication. A little over 20 years ago I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and had to have my thyroid radiated so then I developed hypothyroidism and a few of the horrible symptoms (always cold, sleepy, puffy eyes almost all day) that go with that. Oh, it was awful but the medication has really helped me. I remember falling asleep in the middle of dinner so many times and I couldn’t go anywhere because my eyes were always so puffy!😂 So sweet Mabel! She really knows how to be cozy! ☺️

Lovely video. On avpiditive note i thimk undersctive thoriod is much better than overactive so hopefully the meds will keep you well. Thsnkd for doing the vlogs. They sre noe psrt of Christmas

A Saskatoon is a berry found mostly growing on prairies in Canada, “rosaceous pome”. Historically the fruit was used by native Indians in making pemmican. It is known by many other names as well, too many to put here😂. Hope the medication helps you to feel better. 🤞🙋🏼‍♀️

Hi Jooles. Such a lovely vlog. I have an underactive thyroid too. Had it for years and years so been taking thyroxine for a very long time now but my hair is falling a lot lately so may be need another blood test. It took ages for them to find out what was wrong with me and had tests for many things. I was stick thin from vigorous dieting so they never thought about an under active thyroid. Just wanted to say that you and other bloggers have got me through a very difficult end of year too. I hope to be back on your Patreon channel very soon as had to leave. I really missed your advents this year too. It’s awful when you go out and then other people spoil it due to bad manners. They should bring back the usherettes! Do you remember them? Coming around to see if you wanted ice creams with torches and telling people to be quiet if they were talking too much. Anyway - hope you managed to get your shopping done. Lesley x

Hi Jooles! I am sure by New Years yoy will be feeling good again. I have a high dosage of thyroid medication because my thyroid was destroyed after have a radioactive treatment on it years ago. The medication helps but i have both Hashimoto and Graves disease and will always have problems. Still life is good! What a fancy cinema you have. I haven’t been to a cinema in over 25 years. Do you have any special plans brewing for all your advent yarns? Happy vlosmas! 🎄 It is going to quickly.

Hi Heidi (one of my favourite names EVER!) I'm so sorry for your struggles x I don't have any plans for my advent yarns yet, I tend to just keep them for a year or so until the perfect project comes along xxx
