CARNIVAL CLUE 3 Puzzle Mystery Quilt || Cotton Cuts PMQ

Clue #3 of Cotton Cuts Puzzle Mystery Quilt is HERE! I am making the small quilt using the Funnel Cake fabric line. In this tutorial, I will show you how to make the block with some tricks and tips along the way.

Here's how it works if you choose to sign up for it:
➡️ You will receive a "clue" (fabric kit) each month with pre-cut coordinating fabrics. Easy and stress-free!
➡️ Each month you will make a "puzzle piece" (quilt parts, blocks, etc.).
➡️ At the end of the 10 months, you will put these pieces together to make a quilt! How cool is that?

Why did I never think to put stickers on the clips? The clip stickers are one of those ideas that I wish I had! There are tons of letter and number stickers out there but those folks looked at it through a quilting lens and now have a specialized product on the market. People are so clever! I love that you are showing a scrappy version. As someone who wants to improve my sense of color for quilting, watching a video like yours shows me the difference that value really can make. Thanks for being so clear in your tutorials!

This is slowly coming along. The letters on your clips are a good idea. I can't even imagine how it will all turn out. To me it looks pretty. I like the colour scheme and suppose the pieces that are much the same in colour will all make sense at the end. I like you scrappy version and can see the pattern more clearly with yours. I'm working on my Clue #3 right now, so your timing was perfect! I have the "Sky Diver" fabric, and I have more contrast between my A and D fabrics, so that part is okay, but my B and E fabrics are close in value (and color). But like you, I'm trusting the process, and overall, I really do love the fabric.

So interesting to hear this! I am wondering if the make a sample in each colorway. My guess is they don't just because of the time it would take. I hope it is worked out digital and we won't have to worry. LOVE Sky Diver colors! I am excited to see this all come together.
